- Elevations series
Ultra high resolution images created from multiple photographs. Many of the buildings we create do not stand the test of time and stay pristine. Some fall into a visually delightful decay, others into a brutal abuse of the viewer and the surrounding landscape. This series of images looks in great detail at both. You can be the judge of which may be which. Critical is the high resolution (not visible online) which allows the viewer to follow every crack, flake of paint, dented facia or crumbling bit of masonry. The have all been presented as fully rectified elevations. Hence all perspective is gone and they look like photographic versions of the original architectural elevations. In essence taking the aged building back to the architect and asking architects (and planners) to be more wary of where their creations may end up.
